    basically a bunch of people with weird and mysterious powers (of your choice) all together trying to survive in a world where they are the only human beings left along with hideously mutated organisms

    may not sound like the best but it can be worked on just a general idea

    So if any interested post your character by name, age, gender, physical description (or maybe a picture of some sort), likes, dislikes and any background information you would like to include Smile

    I am personally up for this idea. It sounds kind of cliche but honestly for a role-playing game that doesn't matter much. The idea is to get some good SETTINGS, CHARACTERS, and INTERACTIONS going. Not like we're going to be turning this into a novel. Smile

    A suggestion: Some of this 'survival group' should start out already banded together, with established relationships. The rest could find/make their way to the others throughout the course of it, encountering things and people along their way.
    This would let us really play around with some different environments.

    Some questions that need to be answered (open to anyone!!):
    ~Is this on Earth, or somewhere else?
    ~Futuristic? I'm guessing so if it's apocalypse, but it doesn't have to be
    ~Clearly our protagonists will be the group trying to survive, but who/what is the 'enemy,' per say? Is there secretly someone(s) out there who destroyed the planet that we want to go after? Or are these mutant beasts some kind of organised force? Or in the aftermath of the destruction, have the last desperate people formed into alliances to fight against each other? If so, how and why? IDEAS PLEASE!
    ~How many characters can we play? I guess this depends on how many people get in on the story
    ~Are these people mostly our age? If so we need to explain why
    ~Where did their powers come from?
    >>Idea: Maybe they only survived because they DID have
    these powers that allowed them to adapt, while no one
    else could. Now, as they band together, they have to
    figure out how this was possible/where they came from,
    etc. Finding the answer to this would probably also
    explain why they're all the same age (if they are).
    ~How much should we as authors know from the outset? Should we lay out a basic plotline to follow, or just let things develop as they will through the actions of our characters?

    I've never done a RPG before. This should be interesting. Smile
    If anyone else has other plot ideas to throw out there, go for it!
