Someone Else

You try to listen but you don't hear
That all I say is sincere.
You try to watch but you don't see
How much I want you to be with me.
You try to touch but you don't feel
The wound on my heart will never heal.
You try to hear but you don't listen,
You never notice how my eyes glisten.
You try to see but you don't watch
How I try to move up a notch.
You try to feel but you don't touch,
You don't pay attention to me that much.
You have a good time living your life
While my heart is under the knife.
You try to be sweet but you don't have to,
You are real and always true.
I want you to see how I think of you
But you don't care no matter what I do.
I need to try and forget your smile
Even if it takes a while.
I know it is the right thing to do
Even if I know I care about you.
But I also know what my mind tells,
Your heart is beating for someone else.
So I'll put my head down and leave
And I'll stop being naive.
I will wipe off my tears
And live alone my future years.

I just wrote this poem few minutes ago...didn't really have to think about it... Yep....kind of how I feel right now but I'm most definitely okay! Not sad or depressed or anything! Life's Good!
