Uh...these are mine...and I'm posting them here. ;~}

Frustration, irritation,
But mostly just the raw sensation,
That the world around is shifting.
Am I anchored down or drifting?
Colors are fading, rearranging.
Nothing's new, but all are changing.
Fear and anger, imagined danger.
Look up. You're holding hands with strangers.

The dream you had last night
That shook you to the core,
Awoke you at two a.m.,
That left you in a cold sweat,
That you keep trying to brush off
As nothing.

The shadow that hangs over you,
As you hastily eat breakfast,
Search the house for your shoes,
As you brush your teeth,
As you gather your scattered belongings;
Your purse, your cell, your keys.

The sinking feeling in your heart,
As you pull the door shut,
Without a backwards glance,
As you yell over your shoulder
As you do everyday, that mundane word:
“Goodbye.”

It reminds me of that one movie..."Premonition"...I really like it !! It has a really dark tone kind of thing...it's scary .

Haha, I hadn't written a poem in soooo long...I was just in the mood for it. So...I wrote that one. Yup yup.

I started with the title, which is unusual for me...I usually have trouble titling poems, but I gave this poem a name before I ever wrote it. ;~} Weird, huh? And fitting.

I think it's time I wrote again...anybody have any ideas?

I haven't written anything in FOREVER!!!

Maybe I can dig out some old stuff that I don't think I've shared...

Kay, this isn't that good. It'd be better in song form, but...anyway...

I wouldn't call it chasing,
Cos you were here.
I am just doing my best
To keep you near.

I wouldn't call it desperate.
At least, not yet.
You can't tell, but I swear I
Try not to beg.

I wouldn't call it hatred.
I still care.
I even think there's still some
Fond mem'ries there.

I wouldn't call them nightmares,
But I can't sleep.
Now reality is much
Worse than my dreams.

You said you love me, promised
You'd never leave.
I guess you've said a lot of
Things in your life.

I remember saying I
Could not believe.
But I guess my heart did not
Consult my mind.

If you say goodbye again tonight,
I think I will believe you this time.


And I'll work on writing something happy to post here. I promise you, I'm really a very happy person. You wouldn't believe what a good mood I was in when I wrote this.

Yup, in the shower. My best inspiration comes when I don't have access to paper. It never fails.

I must not think in English.
For if I did, shouldn't I,
Be able to translate the
Words of my head to paper?

I must not finish my thoughts
Before I attempt to spell
Them out. For the product is,
Always so weak, watered down.

I must not think in words,
For sometimes I flounder.
No words fully express
All that I mean to say.

I must not think concretely,
For sometimes I can't pin down
The fleeting images or
Ideas that slip right by.

I must not think. I feel.

Yeah, I have. But my stuff really isn't that good.

So, here's something new-ish, that was once again meant more as a song than a poem, but whatever, right?

You gave your heart and you lost your voice. Who would want you now?
You try to take another's place to redeem yourself somehow.
Maybe you wouldn't be so cruel if you could stand yourself.
Maybe then you could reach out for help.
