    Improbable yet not impossible

    It’s hard to feel happiness
    When one witnesses grief with sorrow

    It’s difficult to embrace peace
    With the world standing in turmoil

    It’s tough to seek luminous light
    When clouded by morose darkness

    It’s tricky to construct astonishing wonders
    Oppose evil that destroys and demolishes them

    It’s puzzling to display a pleasant disposition
    When malevolent nature stabs you every step of the road

    It’s troublesome to be honest and get caught
    Yet with dishonesty it runs free

    It’s tedious to stay calm
    When dread knows you best

    It’s arduous to have faith in the truth
    Crowds you’re belief with lies from false tongues

    It’s unyielding to question the wise one
    When the foolish many appear to have all the answers

    Its complex to comprehend the misunderstood
    Since it’s more logical to quit

    It’s impermeable to conduct with love
    When hate consumes and controls you

    It may be hard, difficult, complex, tough, tricky, or even troublesome
    But never impossible bounce

    Dear hope,

    I have faith and believe in you
    the star of the north might you be
    shown so brightly, with a wonderful view
    is for all lost in darkness to see

    You inspire so many to do what's right
    a flicker to keep their humanity
    even if your future isn’t as full of light
    and many others maintain their sanity

    I'm glad you haven't let us down
    we're waiting and have been for awhile
    we hold ourselves and stand our ground
    and you have to appear in style

    So, we hope to see you soon
    and sorry for using your name in vain
    I presume that you'll be arriving around noon
    on an unknown distant train

    a crowd of human beings

    What's our purpose?
    to do what it is our will to do

    Where do we stand?
    on matters both wrong or right
    dark and light

    When do we become?
    Become what? in due time or no time

    Why?
    because, a universal question yet an ununiversal answer

    How do we brreak free?
    easy, unleash your mind to the endless infinite possibilities
    beyond the worlds connfines
    and come to realize...

    That we are people and believe it or not

    Obscure

    It’s realized that you notice me
    As always that’s how things will be
    Yet to reach me you’ll require a key
    For view of who I am…

    At times it’s easy to fade away
    In darkness you find me day by day
    Yet deeper and deeper I drift and stray
    How corrupt will I become…

    Faith fully it’s not too late
    For us can we truly choose our fate
    Or is it life that’s confined to this destined gate
    So what am I to do…

    Fear the worst and hope the best
    Really it’s not some kind of worthless quest
    So will you stop or should you rest

    I read it! W? Icon_biggrin I like how you wrote it as a poem-letter. I also like how each stanza has a little half line on the end. It makes the meter such that you pause there and really let the words sink in.

    I like your rhyme scheme. Again, you're emphasizing the last line of every stanza, but this time using the rhymes as well as the meter.

    I find the word corrupt to be very poignant. It really struck me as I was reading it. It was such a drastic change from the 'd' alliteration in the previous two lines.

    Anyway, well done. Smile It's a very solid, intricate poem.
