    • suggestions

    - stories with crazy embellishments
    - story centered around a word starting with the fourth letter of your last name

    • Homecoming Floats

    - Beatnick poets: cafe scene, brick backdrop, all black costumes, stool, print/draw famous writers in the background, berets, imagery from famous poems (a raven from "the raven" a man pretending to be a horse with coconutes from "midnight ride of paul revere)
    - unanomously liked (by our pitiful amount of member attendence)
    - reconvene next Thursday for definite float ideas

    • Teacher Appreciation

    - things for English teacher
    - write nice things about teachers
    - surveys about teachers and scroll results
    - "Who's your favorite teacher and why?"
    - letters to teachers (3 lines, 50 cents, distribute to teachers in mailroom)

    • Contest

    - sappiest love poem
    -essay about favorite teacher
    -character development contest
    -pass the mary sue test (club contest; google it)

    • Other

    -no writing activities
    -no new members were there
    -money dues extended to next friday
