A window to my heart Empty A window to my heart

    Post  Darc October 4th 2009, 9:18 pm

Im really trying to stop writing all this dark sad poetry. I've writen more than I need to ever write so here is something not all like that. It's from my heart.

The Merchant of Venice (an odd title I know)
One must embrace what we are forced
It's unavoidable being forced of course
I can't resist the art of human nature
No one can resist the calling of the future

I find myself stuck in limbo
Unable to tell my way through though
Unable to discern whats up and down left and right
But even in this situation my love will fight

I will fight for the right to love who I want
I will fight for who I want no matter the cost
I will stand tall in a world oh so vicious
I will stand in the evil enslaving all of us

When this time of war and evil ends
We will be the only one who's safe of rend
The only ones saved by the nature of love
The one ones saved by the nature of love...

    Love...yes love will protect us
Love...yes true love will empower us
Love...yes true absolute love is what is guiding me
Love...Yes unconditional love is why I say, let it be

    The Time of Venice

Time is to each his own
To me time has stood still
2 weeks time i'll be sitting alone
2 weeks time feeling the way I feel

In 2 weeks time I will seize my chance
I will lead my heart to an empty plane
A plane of which I can die by chance
A plane of which I can rend my pain

When time does start I can give one thing
I can give what means the world, A promise.
A promise I will carry you on my own ill forgotten wings
I promise I will be what a guardian really is

So when I give the algas of hope
I'm giving you my heart in a sense
My heart, that means little to those without hope
My heart, that had become a rock so dense

My hope is when time starts the dense will fade
That when time continues all will be undone
I know with all I am dreams can be made
I know with all I am the battle, is already won

So, I was cleaning my room (Ali's fault) and I found a poem. The poem was all sad and in my hand writing but I didn't remember writing it. The emotions expressed didn't really fit me anymore (Ali's fault) so I added a stanza to make it fit. Enjoy.

“Oh Love where have You gone”

I am here waiting and You are lost

“Oh Love please tell me you’re on your way

For this time You being gone is charging my heart a cost

“Oh Love I am growing tired of waiting”

I pray You soon find your way to me

“Oh Love where oh where have You gone”

I wish oh Love for You to finally let Us be

“Oh Love, I think I know where You are”

You have gone somewhere deep in my soul

“Oh Love, what must I do to make You free?”

For now that You are in my soul, my heart has a hole

“Oh love I feel my heart is growing cold”

Without Love in my heart I feel it growing thin

“Oh Love…oh Love…I am the one lost”

Since Love is now gone, I truly have nothing within

“Oh Love so many months have passed”

You have shown yourself to me worlds a new

“Oh Love, You have filled the hole that was so vast"
Since Love is now here, I know it’s oh so true.

    who else
