    again, from today's meeting 2/26....

we were given a piece of paper with a beginning sentence on it, and were told to write something for 10 minutes continuing on from that sentence

here's my sentence: Boom! goes my bed, I wonder what happened.

    Boom! Goes my bed,
    I wonder what happened
    The noise drew all stares
    So out quickly I hastened

There was no way, no how
    That I could tell
    The source of the noise
    But all was not well

    My bed lay in shreds,
    My bedroom in tatters
    I cried out for help,
    But I'm not what mattered

    The people rushed forward
    And gathered the pieces
    Of my poor old teddybear
    Whose life now ceases

Story Using a Pre-Made Sentence Empty Safari

Tom was hungry. The growling coming from his belly reminded him of a lion. A big lion with lots of brushy hair. And lots of teeth. Big, shiny, white teeth. With stinky breath. 'Cause he'd just eaten zebras. So his breath stunk. Stank? His breath stinks. Poor zebra. Blood and guts everywhere. It was awesome! Limbs torn off and side open where the lion had pulled out a giant chunk of flesh. He's dead now. But the lion is still hungry. It growled again. No, no, that was his stomach. He'd go get something to eat. Yum yum. Goldfish. A lion was still better, but these goldfish tasted better. Crunch. Cruch. Growl. Phooey. Good thin mommy was coming home with ice cream, she said. That would freeze the lion. And he would stop growling. Crunch.
